About UsThe Board of Africa Education Partnership (AEP) The members of the Board come from a variety of backgrounds, each has gifts uniquely fitted to advance the vision and goals of AEP. Each of these busy men and women, serve willingly and sacrificially, because they believe passionately in the vision for a school in Gusau.
Each of them have written a few sentences about themselves and their interest in Grace International School.

Chairman: Mr. Don Ghostlaw |  | | Don Ghostlaw is a parishioner of St. Peter's Episcopal Church in South Windsor, CT and has served on the AEP Board since its inception. He has visited Nigeria once, and has participated in all AEP fund-raising activities.
Don has been a Christian from birth, and a practicing Episcopalian for nearly twenty years. He is currently Senior Warden for St. Peters, and has served in various parish ministries throughout his tenure. Don also serves on the Board of The Rob Branham Foundation, a non-profit organization serving leukemia patients and their families, and is legal guardian for several mentally handicapped adults.
In his work life, Don is a practicing attorney specializing in non-patent intellectual property matters, with a focus on technology clients. Don has a B.S. in Computer Science from Boston College, and a J.D. from Western New England College School of Law. He is a member of the Connecticut, Massachusetts and New York state bars, and has been practicing for over twenty-six years.

Elaine Chagnon: Elaine is married to Robert Chagnon, who is also involved in Trinity Episcopal Church's mission to Nigeria. "I have worked as a Special Education Teacher for 25 years and am currently a Consulting Teacher for grades 7-12 in the Granby Public Schools. I attend Trinity Episcopal Church in Tariffville and have worked on numerous Emmaus and mission teams. I met Bishop John Danbinta in 2006 on a medical mission trip to Nigeria and our friendship developed when he attended Hartford Seminary. My dream is to teach at Grace International School! |
The Rev. Peter DewberryThe Rev. Peter Dewberry was born in South Africa. After Seminary, he received ordination from the Baptist Union of Southern Africa. In 1971 he began a Church planting ministry, during the next 32 years he planted and pastored four churches, two in South Africa, Goodwood Baptist Church, in the suburbs of Cape Town and Emmanuel Baptist Church in Durban. In 1885 Peter and his family moved to the USA, he became the founding pastor of White Marsh Baptist Church in Gloucester County, Virginia. In 1992 Peter became the founding pastor of NewLife Christian Fellowship in Glastonbury, Connecticut.
In the summer of 2003 Peter founded Free Inside, a Christian Ministry to Prisoners. Peter is married and has three children, a son and two daughters, and four grandchildren. |
The Rev. Thomas R. WhiteThe Rev. Thomas R. White is the rector of St. Peter's Episcopal Church, South Windsor, CT. Tom was raised in the suburbs of Pittsburgh, PA. He graduated from Penn State in 1974 with a BS in Environmental Resource Management. His first two years of seminary were at Trinity Theological College in Bristol, England. His final year was at the General Theological Seminary in New York City.
His entire ordained ministry has been in New England. He first served at All Saints', Attleboro, MA beginning in 1979. In 1984 he became the rector of All Saint's, Whitman, MA.
In 1992 Tom moved to South Windsor. He serves as a spiritual director for Emmaus (teen Cursillo) and is the founding chairman of Young Life in South Windsor, an international ministry to teens. Tom is married and has two daughters. |
