Companion in Mission for Publishing and Communication awarded AEP a second grant of $7200 for the purchase of needed text books for Graceland International School. About 1000 text books are needed to deliver the state curriculum. These books will be made available to students who cannot afford to purchase them. In addition, monies will be set aside for the purchase of computer equipment. While the school has four computers from the previous grant, more are needed. We will wait until there is a secure, dust-free environment before investing this money.
In order to be an accredited school, Grace International School must have a separate Examination Hall.
AEP is pleased and proud to announce the addition of Reverend Amjad Samuel to the Board of Directors. Rev. Amjad comes to us having served as Assistant Rector at St. Paul’s Church, Akron. He was recently installed as Rector of St. Paul’s Church, Huntington.
Bishop John Danbinta has plans to return to the U.S. in the spring of 2015. He will be traveling with his wife, Helen, who has just received word that her visa application has been approved. This will be her first trip to the USA! The trip is tentatively scheduled for May, but at this point, travel plans are still in the discussion stage.
