What we do
- Construct and renovate schools for educating young minds that include:
- Safe, clean learning environments
- Secure, gated perimeter walls
- Boreholes for clean water
- Toilets with handwashing stations for staff and students
- Furniture and equipment
- Provide scholarships of $300/year/student that include:
- Tuition costs
- Books and uniforms
- Room and board for those living on campus
- Routine building maintenance
- Empower marginalized adults through skills training by providing:
- Course offerings by trainers that include sewing/tailoring, barbering, baking/catering, soap/lotion making and others
- Equipment and materials for practicing skills
- Some connections to local businesses for support when possible
- Clean water initiative by providing
- Education to community members on the importance or clean water and the development of good hygiene practices
- Provision of portable chlorine generators to sanitize large tanks of standing water
- Creation and distribution of sanitizing solution for home use
