AEP is a tax-exempt public charity by the IRS under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. All donations shall be used to benefit construction, renovation and support of schools within the areas of our established partners in both Gusau, Zamfara State and Kafanchan, Kaduna State, Nigeria. AEP is a volunteer-run organization. Funds are only transferred from the United States to both Gusau and Kafanchan through pre-established bank-to-bank direct wire transfer. The bank accounts in Nigeria have limited signatories, all of whom members of the AEP board have met.
AEP updates and news, including updated information about our current projects, are regularly reported on the AEP web site at www.africaep.org.
Africa Education Partnership (AEP) respects and protects your privacy. AEP will never sell or rent your personal information to other individuals or companies. When you make a donation, your name might be included in AEP newsletters and other publications. If you do not wish to share your name, or you choose to make your donation anonymously, AEP will not publish your name.
If you make a donation as a gift on AEP's website, we will keep the gift recipient’s information confidential the same way that we keep your information confidential.
AEP periodically reviews and updates our policy for communicating with you via occasional email updates. We will post any updates about that policy on our website
Donation Refund Policies
If you have made an error in making your donation or change your mind about contributing to AEP, we will honor your request for a refund made within 15 business days of your donation. To request a refund,email firstname.lastname@example.org
Refunds are returned using the original method of payment, except cash donations will be returned via check. If you made your donation by credit card, your refund will be credited to that same credit card
