why  us?

• AEP was, and continues to be, an organization founded entirely on personal relationships. The friendship between our community and Nigeria is based on mutual trust, communication and due process for every project for which we provide aid. Visits back and forth between our countries have made families out of friends.
  
• We listen to the expressed needs and priorities from the people for whom challenges are a daily occurrence.
  
• Our board members are dedicated volunteers who gladly give of time and talents.  No one receives compensation for their efforts.
  
• AEP has established financially responsible practices that ensure wise stewardship and accountability.  The use of funds by our partners is carefully documented through detailed reports and photographs.  
• The results are clearly evident and impactful.  School populations have increased dramatically following project completion; we are now faced with expansion of renovated sites.
