200 New Desks and Chairs

Classroom furniture is one of the keys to high performing students. ... It's proven to increase student collaboration, focus involvement, engagement, feedback, and stimulation. ​

The right student chairs and desks also help to engage the best ways of learning. Desks increase student comfort, and create an enriching experience. 

When schools reopen in Nigeria, after the danger of Covid19 infection has passed, students and teachers at Jagindi Tasha Nursery/Primary School in Kafanchan will enter a new school environment with bright, newly renovated classrooms, furnished with new desks. Their learning and teaching environment are greatly enhanced by the changes they will encounter.

To date, all of the 200 new desks have been made and are being moved into the renovated classrooms. The cost of the desks and the renovations were funded by Africa Education Partnership through generous donations by our partners here in the USA - thank you.
