On Friday, January 14, board member Elaine Chagnon presented to the Rotary Club of Avon-Canton via Zoom. Her powerpoint presentation focused on the work completed during the 2021 year. While still unable to travel to Nigeria, Africa Education PArtnership was able to continue work, albeit at a slower pace, than in the previous years.

It is with great sadness that we mourn the passing of our dear friend and board member, Rev. Beth Frank, on January 21, 2022. Beth had an extraordinary impact on many, serving as an attorney, pastor to many churches, and public servant working with numerous organizations and non-profit groups.
A generous benefactor has offered a $45,000 match to Africa Education Partnership starting NOW! Any donations, no matter the size, will be matched dollar for dollar up to $45,000! We need to raise the total amount before we receive the match.
Africa Education Partnership members believe that schools need to be places where children and teachers feel safe and supported. In such an environment, learning can more readily take place. Given the present conditions and challenges in Nigeria, this is no small feat. However, every step we take is considered a victory, no matter the size of the project.
