Under the leadership of Mrs. Nana Dogo, a Women’s Center has been built. The focus of the center is to empower women by providing them with the skills needed to earn money for themselves and their families. The region is rural with subsistence farming as the main source of income. Poverty is most evident and acute among 2500 widows in this community.

Your donation to AEP will be doubled during December!
AEP has a most wonderful opportunity! We have received a generous matching gift, dollar-for-dollar, for all donations received during December. These funds will enable us to to continue meeting the needs of our schools in Nigeria. Bishop Markus Dogo of Kafanchan and his wife, Mrs. Nana Dogo, arrived in Connecticut in early October to begin a busy and fruitful series of engagements, promoting the work of Africa Education Partnership and our sister organization Kateri Medical Services.
This school is located on the same campus as Gidan Waya Junior Secondary School, and adjacent to the Arthur and Esther Bradley Memorial Hospital.
