Africa Education Partnership was at the Connecticut Episcopal Convention on October 26 and 27, at the Connecticut Convention Center. We had a display table showcasing our school projects in Nigeria. It was a great experience and many people showed an interest. By mid-Sunday morning we were almost cleaned out of newsletters, brochures, and leaflets explaining the clean water projects in Gusau and Kafanchan. We spoke to many people, clergy and laypeople. Numerous people signed up for our newsletter, and a number appeared interested in having a representative come and make a presentation in their parishes. When board member Elaine Chagnon returned from her trip to Nigeria, she brought back with her some art work made by students at our Kafanchan schools. This art has been made into post cards, folk who came to our table loved them and we sold a number of them at $2.00 each.
