After navigating the myriad travel requirements, Bishop John arrived safely in Boston on December 31. After settling into his accommodations at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in Hamilton, MA, he began a rigorous two-week course required for the completion of his Doctor of Ministry degree.
After the intensive course ends on January 14, he will spend time at the home of Africa Education Partnership Board Members Bob and Elaine Chagnon. During his stay, he will be meeting with the rest of the Connecticut-based AEP board. While AEP works with Bishop John on education projects, Kateri Medical Services also works with Bishop on medical endeavors. He will also have a chance to meet with several of the Kateri board members as well.
Due to Covid, contact with the bishop will be limited and carefully planned.
Bishop John delivered his message at Trinity Episcopal Church in Tariffville on Sunday, January 16 at both services- 8:00 and 9:45. If interested in hearing his message, please visit https:www.trinitytariffville.org and follow easy instructions for either in-person or online participation.
On Thursday, January 19, Bishop traveled to Akron, Ohio to spend time with AEP board members based there. He was able to present at two churches- both in Akron and Hudson, Ohio. He returned home on February 3.
