Desks for Kafanchan

As the number of school children have increased in the newly renovated buildings, so has the need for new desks.  Funds from our generous donors provided 200 new  2-seat desks to be used at several schools in the district.  The desks were spread throughout the schools where needed.​

Hand-crafted:  The desks were handcrafted by a local iron worker and wood worker.  Bars of iron were bent to form the frames of varying sizes.  The wood worker attached the finished wooden tops.

The desks are extremely heavy...and durable.  And at a cost of about $50 U.S. dollars each, they are a bargain!
