“Today I was overjoyed when I saw the renovated classrooms painted. They look more than renovated, they look just like brand new. Peace.” Bp. Markus M Dogo. Joy all around. We at Africa Education Partnership are equally overjoyed at the completion of our first renovation project in Kafanchan. The Kogum River Nursery/Primary School was in a very serious state of disrepair. There is still a lot of work to do at this school- one more classroom building requires renovation and new construction of a classroom block is needed. Moving forward with a new building. The newly-completed renovation at Kogum River cost $9,000. The cost of constructing the new block of four classrooms is $24,000. Now that the first block is renovated, we will concentrate on building two for similar renovations. After completion, we will prioritize the list of needs and add a new classroom block for this site to the list... Thank you Your generous donations and support for Africa Education Partnership’s construction projects in Gusau and Kafanchan are deeply appreciated. Please continue supporting this vital work; it is making the future of these students more secure. Our work is especially significant in the lives of girls who often don’t receive the same educational opportunities as boys. Send a donation.
