Africa Education Partnership is pleased to announce that the renovation of the Kafanchan Junior Secondary School multi-purpose hall has been completed in time for the new academic year. Before the renovation began, the hall was in a very bad state of repair; the ceiling and roof were near collapse, posing a danger to all who used it. The exterior photos show a remarkable transformation! Diligence, planning and hard work We commend our partners in Kafanchan for their diligence, planning and hard work that brought the project to completion in spite of the difficulty in getting materials to the site during the rainy season, when roads are often impassable. Rebuilding a roof during the rainy season has been a challenge, but they achieved their goal in time for the students returning to school. Total cost The total cost of the renovation project was $17,500. We really appreciate the generosity of all of our donors who continue to support our work in Nigeria. Your generosity is making a huge difference in the lives of the students in Kafanchan. Through your gifts they are able to enjoy an environment that is conducive to learning.
