Africa Education Partnership (AEP) is hosting a Spring Benefit Concert with the Tapestry Singers of Connecticut on Saturday, March 21 between 4 - 6 pm at First Baptist Church, 240 Hillstown Road, Manchester, Connecticut.
The Tapestry Singers of Connecticut perform throughout the region, raising money for charitable causes and bringing joy to many different audiences. Their repertoire is a richly woven musical tapestry, including popular show tunes, spirituals and folk melodies.Their concerts are always well attended and very much appreciated.
Under the leadership of their director, Ms. Paula Kern, the choir members give generously of their time and talents to benefit numerous non-profit charities. The Tapestry Singers have agreed to sing at a Concert to benefit the work of Africa Education Partnership in Northern Nigeria.
The Concert will be in two parts with an interval for hors d’oeuvres. There will be an opportunity to view a brief video greeting from Bishop Markus Dogo of Kafanchan, Nigeria and view a short slide presentation on the work of AEP.
A freewill offering will be taken at the concert.
