Meet Alice - A Dedicated Teacher at Kafanchan Nursery School

After the session with the Kafanchan Nursery/Primary teachers, a woman from the group approached. She introduced herself as Alice and said she was happy to have access to the materials that had been provided.

Elaine asked Alice how she came to be a teacher. Alice shared that she had been teaching for seven years and had attended college to obtain her teaching certificate. When completing her practicals (like student teaching), she said, "I think I can do this!" Alice smiled as she spoke of her enjoyment in working with her students. Her dream is to further her education in order to become a better teacher for her young charges. She has two children, a fifteen-year-old daughter who attends Kafanchan Junior Secondary School (on the same campus) and a ten-year-old son.
