Meeting with Teachers and Administrative Staff

I was able to meet with a small group of teachers and the administrative team to review the progress made at the school.  

In addition, we discussed the formation of a maintenance budget, which would allow us to make necessary repairs from normal wear and tear.  We discussed items such as replacement of computers and furniture, bus maintenance, supply requisitions, and physical plant repair including painting, plastering, plumbing, and other miscellaneous expenditures.  This budget will be discussed with members of the building committee, as well as with administration, and forwarded to AEP for review.

Items still needed to make the school complete
In addition, there was a discussion of a wish list of items still needed to make the school complete.  
The list includes the following:

1. Tiling of the nursery floor to keep the area clean for the very young students
2. Installation of additional fans and lights to the classroom blocks
3. Projector and dust covers for the computer lab
4. Furniture for the administrative offices
5. Additional teacher desks for classrooms and the teacher workroom
6. Additional bookshelves for the library
7. Additional student desks for classrooms
8. Internet connection for the library so that students can conduct research
