New Classroom Block for Jagindi Tasha

Our second partner, Bishop Markus Dogo, made a plea for an additional classroom block at the Jagindi Tasha Nursery/Primary School.  Although he had raised funds for a large, new building which AEP helped roof and complete, it was full to capacity. ​

Transfer of funds:  With permission from the Episcopal Diocese of Connecticut, a previous grant received and earmarked for another project was transferred to this more urgent request.  Along with additional funds from AEP, a new classroom block was recently constructed.

New desks:  Thanks to a generous benefactor, additional funding was donated to finish tiling and painting the building interior.  In addition, 100 2-person desks, along with shelving and tables for teachers was provided.  The building is ready to welcome students when they return from Christmas break.
