Progress at Kogum River

Africa Education Partnership’s newest project is the renovation of a four classroom block at Kogum River Nursery/Primary School in Kafanchan, Kaduna State, Nigeria. AEP began a new Partnership with the Anglican Diocese of Kafanchan, Kaduna State in late 2018. Board member Elaine Chagnon and her husband visited Kafanchan in October 2018. After visiting these schools it was clear that the  Kogum River Nursery/Primary School was most in need of renovation. The board of AEP voted to send US$9,000 to renovate a block of four classrooms at the school.

Progress
The work is progressing well, with a new roof in place and outside finish work completed. Renovations on the interior are underway,  including the tiling of the floors and painting of the walls. Our partners in Kafanchan have sent numerous photos showing progress on this particular renovation, which they expect to complete very soon.
