The teachers and students in Kafanchan schools teach and study under very difficult circumstances, with few resources and poor conditions. The attached photos show a teacher working with dedication, teaching a class of eager students. There are not even enough books for every student to have their own. The students are typical of so many Nigerian children, eager to learn, despite the obstacles that they face. A new AEP project. Africa Education Partnership is working with the diocese of Kafanchan to renovate and upgrade some of their older existing school buildings, some of which were built in the 1930s. We will eventually Help us give these young people a future.
This is vital work. But we cannot do it without your help. It costs $9,000 to do a full renovation of a block of four classrooms; the amount of $24,000 is enough to construct a new block of four classrooms. Please consider a donation toward the Kafanchan building fund so that these young people can be educated in an environment conducive to learning with the materials that they need.
