Africa Education Partnership members believe that schools need to be places where children and teachers feel safe and supported. In such an environment, learning can more readily take place. Given the present conditions and challenges in Nigeria, this is no small feat. However, every step we take is considered a victory, no matter the size of the project.
To that end, the board of Africa Education Partnership will not consider a school project to be complete until the following components are in place:
Each of the above components takes time and money. While we have finished individual projects at five different sites, all in response to the needs expressed by our partners, the sites are in different phases of completion according to the guidelines above.
