Students’ Day at Kafanchan Junior/Secondary School.
This is a very special annual event at the school, in which the students interact with each other and their teachers. The school’s various cultural clubs present dramas, along with a variety of athletic competitions and games. Students look forward to these activities as they build confidence in their talents and abilities.
Visiting speakers address the students on various employment opportunities and share information about their own jobs and careers. The students learn about the academic and practical aspects of work and what further education they may need to pursue academic and technological fields. Speakers encourage students to think about their futures.
These activities are a lot of fun as they help students build confidence in their talents and abilities. The activities on the day do a lot to help to build understanding and respect for each other.
Newly Renovated Hall
This year’s Student Day took place in the newly renovated hall, funded by Africa Education Partnership (AEP). As a board we are deeply grateful to all of our donors who have made this school project, as well as the other projects in Kafanchan and Gusau a reality. Please take some time to look at other parts of our website. We especially invite you to read some of our news blogs beginning with the link below.
